Friday Night MLS: Sporting Kansas City hammers FC Dallas

Sporting Kansas City 4-0 FC Dallas
Krisztian Nemeth got Kansas City going in the 19th minute with the final piece of a Graham Zusi free kick. Zusi's ball found the flying head of Kevin Ellis and then the head of Nemeth right in front of the goal. It was a pretty little play that could get some goal of the week talk. Things got a little easier for SKC when two hard fouls from Zach Loyd within ten minutes before halftime led to Dallas playing a man down for the entirety of the second half. As a result, Benny Feilhaber, Ellis, and Zusi made it 4-0 Kansas City by the 64th minute. Dallas was never really in the game, even before Loyd's sending off. They only managed five shots total with one reaching the target. Dallas misses the chance to jump Deattle in the top spot in the West. Conceding thee points to Kansas City means the two sides are now level at 21 points for second place.
