Colorado Rapids 1-1 FC Dallas
Both teams came into Dick's Sporting Goods Park hoping to turn around a recent run of bad form and neither side got all they were looking for. This game took about 70 minutes to wake up. Fabian Castillo took what looked to be a 0-0 draw and made it slightly more interesting. It was a wonderful curling shot from the corner of the penalty area that Clint Irwin did get a palm to, but he failed to tip it off the target and it went in for the first goal of the game.
From this point it looked like Dallas would hang on to earn three points, but Colorado had other ideas. Dillon Serna connected on a cross from Drew Moore to bounce home the equalizer in the 88th minute.
The draw keeps FC Dallas lagging behind the Western leaders in fourth place. The have 23 points, five off of first place Seattle, Colorado's forgettable season continues as they have 15 points from as many matches, which is good for last place in the West.
