Sunday Night MLS: Cup rematch draws even, Seattle comes back for three points

Seattle Sounders 1-1 New York Red Bulls
This was a pretty exciting back and forth match with a good late winner. New York got on the board with a strange play off a free kick in the 37th minute. Lloyd Sam headed home a deflection when the original shot went into the Seattle wall. The goal would hold up until the 69th minute when Marco Pappa equalized for Seattle. He did well to weave his way past Chris Duvall before roofing a shot in the upper corner. Chad Barrett waited until the first minute of stoppage time to poach away all three points to for Sounders. He barely got a toe to a Clint Dempsey shot that was probably going in anyway.

New England Revolution 2-2 LA Galaxy
The weather really sucked in Foxboro for the MLS Cup rematch. All the goals came in the first half as the encore found no winner. Teal Bunbury got New England on the baord after only five minutes. The next two went to the Galaxy as Ignacio Magnatio equalized in the 18th and Guasi Zardes gave them the lead nine minutes later. Diego Fagundez for the Revs level again in the 37th. That was it for the action, however. New England kept the ball for more of the second half, but failed to pull ahead.
