Sunday Premier League: Saints roll, Swans upset Manchester United

Southampton 3-0 Norwich City
This was the Saints' game from start to finish even though it took them the entire first half to score. Graziano Pelle scored from the spot in first half stoppage time to give Southampton the lead. A pair of second half goals from Dusan Tedic within three minutes of each other sealed the deal for them. It was the first win of the year for Southampton as they not have five points from their first four games. They also finally showed us what we all knew they were capable of for the first time on the young season. Maybe they can show us more against a higher quality opponent.

Swansea City 2-1 Manchester United
Swansea battles back from a second half deficit against the run of play to earn a huge three points against the Red Devils in Wales. After Juan Mata put Manchester United ahead in the 48th minute. It would last until Andre Ayew leveled in the 61st. Swansea would move in front to stay with a Bafetimbi Gomis goal in the 66th. Gomis now has four goals in as many games and is leading Swansea to a strong start. The Swans are in third with eight points after four games.
