Full Premier League Recap

After his club's latest failure at Stoke, Louis van Gaal suggests to reporters that he may resign as Manchester United's manager. The former boss of the Dutch national team said that the club doesn't have to fire him, he could simply quit on his own. Earlier in the week, captain Wayne Rooney expressed his support for his manager.

The Timbers have made plenty of roster moves so far, and now defender and captain Liam Ridgewell is being targeted by Championship side Brighton on loan. He was loaned to Wigan Athletic last offseason, so a short stint in England is certainly not out of the question.

LA Galaxy are contiuing their fire sale as they have sent Juninho packing for Tijuana in Mexico. Juninho becomes the second Galaxy player to be sold to a Mexican outfit as Omar Gonzalez left for Pachuca last week. These sales are possibly leading to another big buy in Los Angeles.
