Hooligan's Wake Up: Blatter makes final plea for 2022 World Cup

Yesterday's Scores
Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 Hamburg SV

La Liga
Levante 3-0 Getafe
(Morales 10', Rossi PK 43', Verdu 81')

Serie A
Bologna 0-0 Juventus

Juve's win streak comes to a close at an astounding 15 matches. It could have been in more exciting fashion, as a 0-0 draw is hardly the way anyone expected it to end.

Ligue 1
Bordeaux 0-0 Nice

Liga MX
Querétaro 2-2 UANL
(Forlin 45', Jimenez 48')-(Gignac 12', Aquino 50')

Tijuana 1-1 Morelia
(Moreno 82')-(Pellerano 87')

Sepp Blatter is on his way out of FIFA with his eight year ban likely holding up after appeal, but he isn't going to depart the game without trying to make sure the 2022 World Cup goes as currently planned. He swears that the bidding for the tournament was won by Qatar fair and square and that "You cannot buy a World Cup." Uh huh. Right. It isn't like there are mountains of evidence to the contrary there, buddy.

There's also this gem of a Blatter quote from the BBC:
He said: "I have killed nobody, I have not robbed a bank, I have not taken any money from anywhere and I was even treating well all my ex-girlfriends.
"It's true. They defend me. One I was married to only for a few months and she is really defending me."
First off Sepp, nobody wants to dig into your likely sordid love affairs. Second, he's probably paying those women off too.

The rough season for Tim Howard just keeps chugging along. Roberto Martinez has announced Joel Robles as the starter for Everton, officially displacing the American hero. This is all the more reason for Howard to head stateside to close out his illustrious career.
