Headlines
With all the fan complaints on the price of tickets in the Premier League, Liverpool have decided to drop their £77 tickets and freeze overall ticket prices for next season. I am actually shocked that their American owners caved as quickly as they did. I suppose they saw further action coming down the line if they stuck to their guns. They'd rather just nip it in the bud now and realize that it would not have been much of financial gain in the grand scheme of things.

Here's something that should go over well with all the ticket price talk. Manchester United announce they posted club record revenues for the 2014-16 fiscal year. The club netted between £500 and £510 over the course of the year. They are the first club to make more than £500 in a year in Premier League history.

David Beckham's Miami MLS project has never really gotten off the ground. I have written it off as a total failure that will never materialize. Beckham is beginning to look for alternative ways to secure the $300 million needed for a viable stadium project. The English legend is selling shares to raise funds for a home for the non-existent franchise. This means Beckham will likely not be the majority owner of the team, if it ever actually gets formed.
