Headlines
Kurt Zouma suffered an awful looking leg injury in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Manchester United. He rose to meet an aerial ball and his leg bent in an unnatural way as he hit the ground. The injury is clearly a concern for Guus Hiddink and his men. He will have an MRI done this week to dind out the extent of the damage.

Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly was the victim of racist chanting during their trip to Lazio on Wednesday. To show support for their young Senegalese star, Napoli supporters sported masks with Koulibaly's face on them and displayed banners to encourage him. A few fans also showd up in black face, which is a bit much, in my opinion.

Sporting Kansas City took the opportunity to buy a 30 second commercial during the Super Bowl to launch their new jerseys for 2015. It was the beginning of their new "All for The City" marketing initiative as they try to increase their footprint in the Kansas City market. It's pretty standard as far as American soccer marketing goes, but I do want to call out MLS for using the term "NFL championship match" to describe the Super Bowl like it's a soccer thing. I have never once heard an NFL game be called a match, so there's no reason for MLS to use that term.

Today's Match
La Liga
Espanyol v. Real Sociedad- 2:30pm
