The MLS to St. Louis talk is really starting to heat up. The league has begun to actively look for a stadium site and a plan. The thought that MLS could be a hit in St. Louis really gained some steam when the Rams bolted for Los Angeles, leaving the city short a sports team. St. Louis FC currently plies its trade in the USL with decent support, so it's possible they could make the jump if the right people send money their way.

Tomorro's Liverpool-Sunderland clash might be worth watching thanks to fans promising to stage a walkout in the 77th minute to protest a raise in ticket prices for next season. To try and stem the tide, CEO Ian Ayre has tried to get the fans to look at the facts. They will have to pay for their stadium renovations somehow, and I guess the massive influx of television cash won't be enough.

Chinese clubs have been all over the ews with their sudden ability to spend boat loads of money. Apparently, before paying €50 million for Alex Teixeira, Jiangsu Suning tried to by Diego Costa for a whopping €75 million. China is serious about buying big name players, even if not each and every one is for sale.

The CAF is the first continental federation to speak up and back a candidate in the upcoming FIFA election. They have backed Shaikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa for the presidency. They chose the current AFC president over South Africa's Tokyo Sexwale.
