Headlines
Saturday saw the United States U-23 squad announce their roster for Olympic qualifying against Colombia, yesterday we got the senior team announcing it's squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers with Guatemala. Several big names make their return to the squad, including Clint Dempsey, Tim Howard, and DeAndre Yedlin. Here's the full roster:

Goalkeepers: David Bingham (San Jose Earthquakes), Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton FC), William Yarbrough (Club Leon).
Defenders: Ventura Alvarado (Club America), Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City), Steve Birnbaum (D.C. United), John Brooks (Hertha Berlin), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Edgar Castillo (Monterrey), Omar Gonzalez (Pachuca), Michael Orozco (Club Tijuana), DeAndre Yedlin (Sunderland).
Midfielders: Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Alejandro Bedoya (Nantes FC), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Mix Diskerud (New York City FC), Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew SC), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Monchengladbach), Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers FC), Lee Nguyen (New England Revolution).
Forwards: Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes), Bobby Wood (Union Berlin), Gyasi Zardes (Los Angeles Galaxy)

It certainly looks like Klinsmann is bringing his A-team out to play for these pretty important matches. The USA is currently first in Group C of CONCACAF Qualifying and can clinch a spot in The Hex as early as this week with two wins agaisnt Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago taking at least four points from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The long reported summer move of Tim Howard to the Colorado Rapids is now official. The USMNT goalkeeper has officially inked a deal with Colorado that will see him return to the States after Everton's season concludes. He will cost the Rapids $600,000 in transfer fees and he will make a salary in the $2.5 million range as a designated player through 2019. That's more than every other MLS goalkeeper combined. Since he is arriving in the middle of the season, only about $250,000 of Howard's paycheck will go against the salary cap for this season.
