Diego Costa has been charged with misconduct by the FA for his bite/seducing of Gareth Barry in Saturday's FA Cup match. At the moment, his suspension is still the standard one game for a red card, so he will miss Chelsea's next game agaisnt West Ham. it could get longer if the FA finds enough cause to do so.

As for players not getting suspended, Marouane Fellaini will not be banned retroactively for his elbow to Emre Can the Europa League on Thursday. He will take the pitch in Thursday's second leg, where Manchester United finds themselves down 2-0 to their English rivals.

The Portland Timbers trade for Darren Mattocks has gone through. They have sent Targeted Allocation Money to Vancouver in exchange for the winger. In a separate transaction, they have signed Fanendo Adi to an extension. He joins Diego Valeri, Diego Chara, and general manager Gavin Wilkinson as Timbers who have received extensions in the past week.

The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals has been made. Crystal Palace will take on Watford while Everton awaits the winner of the Manchester United-West Ham replay. The matches will be played at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 23-24.

There were a few minor suspensions for FIFA ethics violations.
