Headlines
US Soccer announced the 23 man roster for the upcoming Olympic qualifying tie with Colombia. Several senior team players are dropping down for the big two-legged match, including Jordan Morris, Julian Green, and Matt Miazga. Here's the full roster:

Goalkeepers: Cody Cropper (Milton Keynes Dons), Ethan Horvath (Molde), Zach Steffen (Freiburg II).
Defenders:Kellyn Acosta (FC Dallas), Matt Miazga (Chelsea/ENG), Eric Miller (Colorado Rapids), Tim Parker (Vancouver Whitecaps), Desevio Payne (FC Groningen), Shane O'Neill (Cambridge United), Brandon Vincent (Chicago Fire), Walker Zimmerman (FC Dallas).
Midfielders:Fatai Alashe (San Jose Earthquakes), Paul Arriola (Tijuana), Luis Gil (Queretaro), Julian Green (Bayern Munich), Emerson Hyndman (Fulham), Jerome Kiesewetter (VfB Stuttgart II), Matt Polster (Chicago Fire), Dillon Serna (Colorado Rapids), Wil Trapp (Columbus Crew).

Forwards: Jordan Morris (Seattle Sounders), Mario Rodriguez (Borussia Monchengladbach II), Khiry Shelton (New York City FC).

As for the US Senior team, they have some World Cup Qualifiers coming up agaisnt Guatemala over the next FIFA window and they will likely have to get the job done without Fabian Johnson. He injured his groin and is in doubt for the affair. Darlington Nagbe also went down with a scary leg injury in Portland's comeback against Real Salt Lake. So he might be out too.

As with everything Jose Mourinho, I'm taking this report with a grain of salt, but the Portuguese manager has supposedly signed a pre contract with Manchester United to become their next manager. It was already reported that he had chosen his next team and that he would sign on in July. The fishy part is that he will be paid £5m if they do not appoint him before May 1, and a further £10m if they don't before June 1.Which just seems sort of strange to me. So, yeah. Not sure if I trust this one.
