Here's some wonderful news concerning Chelsea's soon to be manager. Antonio Conte could face a six month suspended prison sentence for fraud. He was evidently aware of a 2011 fixed match between Siena, the side he was in charge of, and Serie B outfit Albinoleffe. The match was fixed for Albinoleffe to win. which they did by a 1-0 score. Conte failed to report his knowledge of the crime, hence the investigation and potential jail time.

West Ham's Cheikhou Kouyate was harshly sent off for a sort of aggressive challenge against Crystal Palace on Saturday. After West Ham appealed the decision with the FA, his one match suspension has been revoked. The FA agreed with the club's claim for a wrongful dismissal and Kouyate will be eligible to play agaisnt Arsenal on Saturday.

One of the documents leaked as part of the Panama Papers happens to contain the signature of one, Gianni Infantino, FIFA's new president. The document in question is related to Champions League television rights that were bribed away and then sold for profit in South America. Although Infantino signed off on the original right sale, there is no evidence that he received a bribe in relation to it, yet. But, since his signature is on the bottom line, everyone is up in arms over it. This isn't totally unjustified, since it is good to raise questions in any arena possible when it comes to FIFA and its leadership. Let's just wait for more evidence to show up before stoning the new boss.
