The big story of the say was the "suspicious device" found in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand at Old Trafford. After half the stadium was evacuated, the match was soon called off due to the nature of the device. After the stadium had been cleared, bomb squads conducted a controlled explosion of a device that turned out to be a dud anyway. But the match was called off for precautionary reasons. With the fixture still having impact on European places, the match will be played on Tuesday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who's contract at PSG is up at the end of next month, is the latest European linked to a move to MLS. He prefers to play for LA Galaxy, as almost all of them do, but the Philadelphia Union own his "discovery rights," for whatever that's worth. Philadelphia have no intention of landing the prolific Swede since they don't have mountains of cash available to pay his hefty salary demands. So, in what will surely be a display of MLS bureaucracy at is finest, expect them to sell those rights to the Galaxy for a decent chunk of change and for Zlatan to be turning LA into a supposed juggernaut yet again.

Newcastle are going down to the Championship next year, and manager Rafa Benitez, who arrived in March, has a clause in his contract saying he can leave in the event of a relegation. Well, it's decision time for Benitez now that the season is up and his heart is saying he should stay in Newcastle. He says it's  a great club with great opportunity, but he also needs to think about things and analyze his options before deciding for certain.

Today's Matches
None. With European seasons, for the most part, over, the week is going to slim out quite a bit until Copa America and the European Championships begin.
