Hooligan's Wake Up: England willing to wait for Hodgson replacement

Yesterday's Scores
U.S. Open Cup- Fifth Round
Chicago Fire 2-1 Columbus Crew
(Accam 7', 29')-(Finlay 79')

Real Salt Lake 1-1 Seattle Sounders (1-4 on penalties)
(Plata 43')-(Valdez 51')

Roy Hodgson wasted no time resigning from his post as England's manager after the loss to Iceland, but the FA might be willing to waste plenty to wait for the right replacement. They have said they are willing to wait for a manager like, say, Arsene Wenger, to be out of contract. That would be... interesting. World Cup Qualifying will be England's next challenge, something they've never really struggled with. Current U-21 boss Gareth Southgate, goat of the Euro 1996 Final, is considered the "obvious" person to take over in the interim.

AC Milan have hired a replacement for Sinisa Mihajlovic. The recently embattled Italian club has brought on Vincenzo Montella with a two year deal. The former Sampdoria boss takes over a storied club that finished 7th in Serie A last year.

Sadio Mane has completed his move to Liverpool. The Reds signed the 24-year-old forward to a five year deal after sending Saints £34 million. That transfer fee makes him the most expensive African player to date.

Thankfully, the negativity surrounding violence at Euro 2016 has given way for positive, fun loving fans. Tales of Irish supporters and their generosity and good cheer have spread far and wide. The City of Paris has recognized them as well and will award their contingent the Medal of the City of Paris, a 105 year old award that had been given out for many "remarkable acts."
