What a thrilling close to the group stage! Hungary and Portugal have the match of the tournament that thrice saw Portugal come back from a goal down to salvage a draw and a third place finish. Hungary ends up winning the group with the point and Iceland, everyone's favorite little engine that could, coming in second after their late winner against a desperate Austra side.

In the other group in play today, Ireland got a late goal agaisnt Italy to set themselves up to advance through a third place finish. Zlatan Ibrahimovic's international career was closed out by Belgium finding a late goal to knock Sweden out for good.

Euro 2016's knockout rounds look to play out with two distinct brackets in the knockout rounds. First off, we have a rather light field that sets Belgium up for a relatively easy path to the final:

Switzerland v. Poland- Saturday at 9am
Croatia v. Portugal- Saturday at 3pm
Wales v. Northern Ireland- Saturday at 12pm
Hungary v. Belgium- Sunday at 3pm

Then there is the powerhouse bracket that managed to clump the rest of Europe's powers into one field.

Germany v. Slovakia- Sunday at 12pm
Italy v. Spain- Monday at 12pm
France v. Ireland- Monday at 9am
England v. Iceland- Monday at 3pm

Unfortunately, for the first time in three weeks there will be no Copa America or Euro matches. This will also be the case tomorrow, as the European Championships will resume on Saturday with their first set of knockout round matches and Copa America stages it's third place match between the USA and Colombia.
