Hooligan's Wake Up: Arsenal down MLS All Stars

Yesterday's Scores
MLS
MLS All Stars 1-2 Arsenal
(Drogba 45+2')-(Campbell PK 11', Akpom 87')

The MLS All Stars took on a mostly B or C level Arsenal side for their annual showcase. A dubious penalty in the opening minutes gave the Gunners the lead, but Didier Drogba, who always scores against Arsenal, even in glorified MLS exhibition games, leveled right before half time. Arsenal's winner was a tap in from Chupa Akpom while mostly reserve players and/or potential loan targets were on the pitch.

Headlines
The word on the street is that Manchester United have agreed to a transfer fee with Juventus for Paul Pogba. Jose Mourinho will send €120 million to Italy in order to bring Pogba back to Manchester. The move isn't quite official yet, but this was probably the biggest hurdle left to jump. All that's left are agent fees and a medical.

After bringing in Uruguayan international Nicolas Lodeiro, Seattle has now signed Alvaro Fernandez, who returns to the Sounders after leaving the club in 2012. In the mean time, Fernandez has bounced around between Chicago, Qatar, Argentina, and Uruguay.
