Atlanta United have added another player for when it begins play next spring. Tito Villalba will join the side from San Lorenzo in Argentina. With Atlanta not playing a game until March, the winger is heading out on loan, likely to Tijuana in Mexico. He joins fellow MLS players Ignacio Piatti and Gonzalo Veron as players who led San Lorenzo to the 2014 Copa Libertadores title.

Columbus Crew also made a roster move today. they brought in American goalkeeper Zack Steffan from Freiburg of the Bundesliga. The American U-20 international was slated to be the third string keeper in Germany. Instead, the University of Maryland product can backup Steve Clark in his homeland.

Steve Bruce did not get the England gig and now he is without a job overall. Bruce has left his post at newly promoted Hull City. He had been with the Tigers since 2012. It is possible that he returns to Sunderland, where he coached from 2009-2011. Or he may take up an assistant role to Sam Allardyce at England.
