Williams would go on to assist on his club's only goal of the match.

North American League Tables

Atlanta United are set to have quite the debut in MLS next season. They have set an MLS expansion team record for season ticket sales with more than 22,000 sold. Considering they had 31,000 deposits placed shortly after the initial announcement of the team, this isn't much of a shock, but still pretty impressive. Their stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will be shared with the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and will have capacity capped at 29,000 fans for soccer matches. The overall seating capacity is listed at 71,000. Based on initial sales, it wouldn't be a shock to see them regularly hit that 29,000 attendance mark.

Neymar has stepped down as Brazil's captain following their Olympic gold medal win. He had been the skipper since the conclusion of the 2014 World Cup run.

West Ham lost striker Andy Carroll in Europa League qualifying on Thursday, and it looks like they will be without him for a while. His knee injury will keep him out four to six weeks. This is unfortunate for the Hammers, who lost club record signing Andre Ayer for four months after he played for barely a half hour in the Premier League opener last week.
