Legia Warsaw, and Polish fans in general, are some of the rowdier people in European football. Well, their insanity has caught the eyes of UEFA, who have charged them with crowd troubles and ordered their Champions League match against Real Madrid on November 2 played in an empty stadium. Fights, threats, and vandalism plagued their match with Borussia Dortmund prompted the charges. Legia Warsaw are the first Polish club to play in the group stage in 20 years and they currently sit at the bottom of Group F.

Hooligan's Wake Up: More corruption in England revealed

Yesterday's Scores
UEFA Champions League
Arsenal 2-0 FC Basel

Ludogorets-Razgrad 1-3 Paris-Saint Germain
(Pimienta 15')-(Matuidi 41', Cavani 55', 60')

Celtic 3-3 Manchester City
(Dembele 3', 47', Sterling OG 20')-(Fernandinho 11', Sterling 28', Nolito 55')

Manchester City have dropped points for the first time this season. It was at the hands of Glasgow Celtic, of all teams, here in the Champions League. It should be little more than a bump in the road on their way to qualification, however, with how poorly Borussia Monchengladbach have come out of the gate.

Atletico Madrid 1-0 Bayern Munich

Rostov 2-2 PSV Eindhoven
(Poloz 8', 37')-(Propper 14', de Jong 45+2')

(Barsallo 37')

FC Dallas 0-0 Suchitepequez

This single point from FC Dallas sets up a winner moves on, loser goes home rematch with Suchitepequezon the final day of group stage competition. This time, Dallas will have to travel to Guatemala and get at least a point to move on. They hold the top spot in Group H on the third tiebreaker, goals scored.

Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1 Central FC
(Perez 11', Techera 22', 70', Kudo 49')-(Da Silva 44')

Vancouver completes the only perfect run, so far, through the CONCACAF Champions League with this win. Pachuca and Arabe Unido are sitting on nine points through three matches and can join them in that small club.

Monterrey 3-0 Don Bosco
(Lopez 18', De Nigris 43', Gonzalez 51')
MLS
D.C. United 3-0 Columbus Crew
(Sam 71', Neagle 86', Saborio 90')

D.C. United now hold a four point lead over the final playoff spot with three games remaining. Orlando, as evidenced by their bland 0-0 draw below, doesn't look capable of challenging them and New England, who are right below them in seventh, aren't exactly look hot either. Things aren't looking bad for United in terms of making the playoffs.

Montreal Impact 3-1 San Jose Earthquakes
(Oduro 22', Piatti 32', Venegas 90+2')-(Wondolowski 62')

Similar things can be said for Montreal as I did for D.C. They got a nice win here over a Quakes team that is more or less in shambles. While not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, it would take a big miracle to see San Jose still playing after the regular season.

Toronto FC 0-0 Orlando City

This game was a snoozer and not exactly the best midweek offering for FS1 to pick up. It was a pretty juicy matchup on paper. Orlando needed something to get back into the playoff hunt and Toronto has plenty of USMNT thunder, but neither side produced anything, even after Toronto went down to ten men in the second half.

Seattle Sounders 1-0 Chicago Fire
(Marshall 24')

This win puts the Sounders back in a playoff spot, knocking the defending champion Timbers down below the red line. Both sides have 41 points, but Seattle's 12 wins has them in front of Portland's 11. To make things worse for the Timbers, Seattle has an extra game left to play to solidify their position. If Portland fails to qualify for the post season, it will be the first time ever that both of the previous season's MLS Cup Final participants fail to make the playoffs.

Headlines
The next shoe in The Telegraph investigation into English football corruption has dropped. This time, managers at the Championship, England's second tier, are taking a hit. Also related to the third-party ownership scandal that cost Sam Allardyce his job, Barnsley assistant manager Tommy Wright, accepted a bribe from undercover journalists related to investors profiting from transfers. He reportedly accepted £5,000 to push his club to sign certain players who were represented by these investors. He was suspended and later banned. QPR manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was also filmed accepting a similar bribe from these "Far East investors." Also implicated was Massimo Cellino of Leeds United,

Headlines
After the rather damning report against him came out in The Telegraph, San Allardyce has agreed to leave his post as England manager. With the clear indications that he was providing information on illegal player investment schemes to fake foreign businessmen, he was probably going to be fired anyway and the FA was not likely to want to waste time with the next round of World Cup qualifiers on the horizon. Gareth Southgate will take charge until a permanent replacement can be found.

Clint Dempsey's irregular heartbeat will keep him out for the remainder of the season. He had returned to light training two weeks ago with the hopes of being able to make it back, but it seems this condition will not allow him to return this year. Despite the Sounders being in the thick of the playoff chase, it's probably best not to risk Dempsey's health and well being in this scenario. Both Dempsey and the Sounders hope he is back on the pitch for the 2017 season.

Bob Bradley, who has had several successful coaching stints since he was dismissed from his post in charge of the USMNT back in 2011. He took Egypt to the brink of the World Cup. led Norwegian outfit Stabek to their first ever Europa League qualification. and he came within one goal of getting Le Havre promoted to Ligue 1 in France. Thanks, in part, to these accomplishments, he is apparently talking with Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins about a potential job in the Premier League. Francesco Guidolin hasn't done all that well since taking the reins last spring and could be shown the door shortly. Although Bradley's name has come up, former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs is still considered the favorite for the job. It's also worth noting that Swansea was taken over by a group of American investors, including Landon Donovan, over the summer.

Headlines
England manager Sam Allardyce has been the target of an undercover journalistic investigation from The Telegraph that is shedding light on some corruptive practices in English football. This first report indicates that Allardyce has had meetings with journalists posing as Asian businessmen looking to buy stock in players using a scheme known as "third-party ownership" where investors would get a cut of any transfer fees spent on the invested players. This practice was outlawed by the FA in 2008 and by FIFA as a whole in 2015. Allardyce, who has been in charge of one competitive match with the English national team, was filmed meeting with these undercover journalists on two separate occasions. The FA is going to look further into this report before taking action.

This is evidently only the beginning of The Telegraph's investigation into corruption throughout England. Later down the line, they say they have reports on players betting on their own team's matches, managers taking bribes for player transfers, and other managers participating in meetings similar to the Allardyce one above.

In other FA news, they association is looking into playing certain FA Cup matches in midweek in order to clear out more weekends for league play. The goal would be to decongest the schedule in the winter and create a winter break, similar to the one in Germany. The proposal will be voted on next summer.

FIFA is eliminating their anti-racism task force, claiming that their job is complete. Upon the creation of the group, they had a specific set of goals which have all been met, apparently. Meanwhile. racism in soccer, and everywhere else, is on the rise. Many critics, including the anti-racism organization "Kick it Out" have criticized the decision as short sighted.

The USL regular season concludes this weekend and there are still two playoff spots up for grabs. The eighth spot in the East is currently held by Orlando City B, who travel to eliminated Bethlehem Steel as the only match on Sunday. Wilmington Hammerheads are a point back, so a win for them at home against seventh place Richmond Kickers couple with an Orlando loss will send them into the playoffs.

The West is a little more clumped. five teams are currently vying for the eighth spot currently held by San Antonio FC, who take on Rio Grande Valley on Saturday. If they win, it's all over and they head to the post season. Also in play are Portland Timbers 2 (at home against lowly Arizona United), Orange County Blues (at home against West leading Colorado Springs), Real Monarchs (at LA II), and technically Seattle Sounders 2 (at Swope Park Rangers), but their goal difference makes in nearly impossible for them to climb in.

Headlines
The lower divisions of US Soccer are seemingly in a constant state of upheaval. With clubs coming and going each and every year, it's hard to keep track of who plays where and in what league. The NASL is in massive flux these days and they look to be taking a bigger hit in the coming off season. The league is already losing Minnesota United to MLS, and now word has surfaced that Ottawa Fury and Tampa Bay Rowdies are bolting for the technically lower division USL next year. Add in the fact that Fort Lauderdale Strikers ownership has abandoned the team and Rayo OKC's financial backing is very close to pulling out, and the second tier league could see a total of five teams dropping out with only one coming in to replace them. That would leave the league with eight sides at a time when their second division status is already in question, even with their goals of joining MLS as a top tier league. To complicate things, USL has applied for second division status with U.S. Soccer, with the fate of that pursuit possibly to be determined as early as tomorrow. It isn't out of the question to see the NASL dropped down to the third tier with all this chaos.

The draw for the fourth round of the EFL Cup was made at the conclusion of yesterday's matches. We are treated to a bonus Manchester Derby in this round, as the two were drawn together. That is the best match of the bunch, but, overall, there could be some good fun all around. Here's the full draw:

Manchester United v. Manchester City

Headlines
The severity of Harry Kane's ankle injury apparently does not allow for a timetable to be set for his return. He was carried off with the injury during Sunday's victory against Sunderland. There is ligament damage, which could keep him out for around two months, but he may not be back after that spell. Beginning with tomorrow's EFL Cup match against Gillingham, it is expected that Vincent Janssen could serve as his primary replacement.

The rules to the Ballon d'Or have changed as the award has ended its association with FIFA. Now, instead of a shortlist of 23 players narrowed to three right before the ceremony, there will be a list of 30 players with no cutting down of the field. National team coaches and captains will also be eliminated from voting. All the votes will be handled by select journalists. Don't expect this to change the list of realistic winners. Ronaldo will almost certainly win it thanks to his usual display of talent and winning both the Champions League and European Championships in the past year.

The Bundesliga has become an increasingly predictable competition on recent years. Bayern Munich are four times defending champions and it's doubtful anyone will challenge them for the title this year. This has prompted talk of a playoff system to be implemented to determine the champions, and Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has thrown his support in for such a system. The idea would have the top four sides duke it out in a knockout competition to for the title, similar to MLS, Liga MX, and other major North American sports. This would create a little more interest in the mid-upper portion of the table and, not shockingly, Borussia Dortmund is one of the clubs likely to benefit from a playoff.

It's been a rough early season for Spanish mainstays Valencia. Having lost each of their first four matches, they have canned manager Pako Ayestaran, who had replaced the recently departed Gary Neville back in March. Valencia lost eight of the twelve games he managed. Salvador Gonzalez Marco will take over in the interim.

Finally, Fox and MLS employed a unique strategy to try and win over a couple viewers on Sunday. They decided to prop up MLS matches on national television against NFL football with certain markets getting a match depending on when football games were televised there. Well, it worked out quite well. Sunday's matches scored the highest TV ratings for an MLS match in 12 years. A total of 1.3 million viewers watched one of the two games. That's pretty impressive considering the counter programming that always sucks sports fans away from everything else. It was the first time MLS was on broadcast TV up against the NFL since their debut season of 1996.

Headlines
Tottenham was expected to defeat Sunderland. A goal from Harry Kane doesn't exactly jump out as unusual either. The trouble was, Kane went down with an ugly looking ankle injury three minutes after his goal. He was stretchered off the pitch and left the stadium on crutches. He was unlikely to start the EFL Cup match in midweek, but it's unknown how long he will be out. He will be valuated today.

(Hazard 11', 17', Raffael 41', 41')-(Gnabry 73')

Christian Pulisic, teenage American hero, had himself a goal and a pair of assists to add on to his strong Champions League performance during the week. Dortmund had an easy day overall with Darmstadt. Bayern Munich remains perfect to start the year with their win over Ingolstadt, as well.

La Liga

(Momo PK 10')

Barcelona feels a lot better today after last week's defeat. Their usual suspects were at it again as Messi, Neymar, and Suarez all score. Atletico Madrid also had an easy win at home against Sporting Gijon.

Dijon 0-0 Metz

Lorient 1-0 Lille
(Moukandjo 76')

Toulouse 2-1 Guingamp
(Braithwaite PK 63', Durmaz 65')-(Birand PK 54')

Looks like this will be another one of AS Monaco's on years. Their rich ownership will often raise a bunch of great players, like James Rodriguez, and then sell them off to fund his next big winner. With PSG off to a slow start, perhaps they will be able to make France more than a one horse race this year.
