Headlines
Didier Drogba was left out of the starting XI for Montreal Impact yesterday and he was none too pleased. Upon being informed of this fact before the match, Drogba did the mature thing and... refused to dress for the match. He did not wish to come off the bench, so instead he was simply not included in the team. It certainly looks like he can't wait to leave MLS and return to England, where he supposedly has a coaching gig lined up at Chelsea. It's worth noting that the Impact have been better off when he has not played this season.

FC Dallas is back in the lead for the Supporters Shield thanks to their win and Colorado's loss, but they got some rough news after the match. Forward Mauro Diaz could be done for the season after picking up an injury and taken to the hospital for an MRI. Nobody was able to confirm the exact nature of the knock, just that it doesn't look good for him. Midfielder Kellyn Acosta also left the match with a hip injury, but his condition isn't as serious.
