Bob Bradley has steadily rose the European coaching ladder. He is leaving second tier French side Le Havre to join up with the Premier League's Swansea City, who canned Francisco Guidolin this morning. The former USMNT manager has had stops at the Egyptian national team and Norwegian club Stabaek before he got Le Havre within one goal of promotion to Ligue 1 last season. He was fired from his post in charge of the USA after the 2011 Gold Cup. Swansea are winless in the Premier League since opening day and are hoping the American can right their slowly sinking ship.

Speaking of the USMNT, they have released their roster ahead of this window's friendlies with Cuba and New Zealand. Notable omissions are regular keepers Tim Howard and Brad Guzan, along with midfield stalwart and usual captain Michael Bradley. Here's the full youngster laden squad:

Goalkeepers: David Bingham (San Jose Earthquakes), Ethan Horvath (Molde FK), William Yarbrough (Club Leon)

Defenders: Steve Birnbaum (D.C. United), John Brooks (Hertha Berlin),
Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Timmy Chandler (Eintracht Frankfurt), Omar Gonzalez (Pachuca), Fabian Johnson (Borussia Moenchengladbach), DeAndre Yedlin (Newcastle)

Midfielders: Paul Arriola (Club Tijuana), Alejandro Bedoya (Philadelphia Union), Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Lynden Gooch (Sunderland), Perry Kitchen (Hearts), Sacha Kljestan (New York Red Bulls), Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund),
 Danny Williams (Reading)

Forwards: Jozy Altidore (Toronto FC), Jordan Morris (Seattle Sounders FC), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes), Bobby Wood (Hamburg SV), Julian Green (Bayern Munich)

Finally, Aston Villa's Championship campaign is off to a rough start. The Villains are 11th in the second tier with only ten points through 11 matches. As a result, they have sacked manager Roberto di Matteo after about six months in charge. He was the fifth different person to manage the club since February 2015. HIs assistant, Steve Clarke, will take over in the interim.
