Minnesota United has their first players for their MLS roster. They have signed Justin Davis and Kevin Venegas from the current NASL roster to MLS deals. They have both been with the Loons for the last five seasons. Minnesota has first rights to any player on their current squad, and I'm sure they will bring more up before all is said and done.

Mexico announced their World Cup Qualifying squad on Thursday, but no word on anything official has come from the USMNT yet. We do know, however, that Geoff Cameron is likely out for the crucial match to open the Hex. The defender has been out from Stoke City's team with a knee injury and is not expected to be well enough to play against Mexico. This will cause issues for Jurgen Klinsmann, as his best defensive pairing has been Cameron and John Brooks. Thankfully, there are plenty of central defense options to take his place. I think left back is still a bigger concern.
