Headlines
The NASL has announced they will play their 2017 season with a total of eight teams thanks to their return to division two status. FC Edmonton, Indy Eleven, Jacksonville Armada, Miami FC, North Carolina FC, Puerto Rico FC, San Francisco, and the once dead New York Cosmos will take part in the league. That means that it appears Rayo OKC are not able to compete next year thanks to the departure of their Spain based ownership group. There were rumours that teams in San Diego, Orange County, and Atlanta could join for the Fall Season, but that appears to be false. There will likely be additions to the league for 2018, however, assuming they get through next year.
