Headlines
Another high profile player has turned down a ton of money from China. Manchester City's Yaya Toure had an offer of  £430,000 per week from a Chinese Super League club and he rejected it. His contract with City is up at the end of the year and he is still open to a move this month, but he hopes to remain in the Premier League.

New roster rules in the top two tiers of Chinese football have made it tougher for teams to lure stars to their country. Out of concern that the leagues may not be serving their stated purpose of building Chinese talent, the leagues have cut down the number of foreign players in a starting lineup from four to three and taken measures to curb spending on international stars. These rules have already killed a number of European moves, including one bid for Diego Costa.
