Clint Dempsey has been cleared to return to competition after being held out since August with an irregular heartbeat. He claims to be about 85-90% of his full fitness, but doctors feel he no longer poses a risk to his health if he were to participate in game action. He did not go into specifics, only said the he is "...not experiencing those issues anymore.''

Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City's newest standout, suffered a broken toe in the 15th minute of Monday night's 2-0 win at Bournemouth. There is no timetable for recovery yet, but he is in doubt for Manchester City's big games over the next two months, including games against Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

Hull City have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players after an incident early in the second half of Saturday's match at Emirates Stadium. The charge stems from players' behavior after a Kieran Gibbs yellow card. The FA says the team failed  make sure they act in an orderly fashion. They have until Friday to respond to the allegations.
