Cameroon will take on Egypt in Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations Final.

Frank Lampard has chosen to retire instead of prolong his playing career after leaving New York City FC this winter. Lampard had a slow start in MLS before becoming a big part of the NYCFC playoff run last season. He will be mostly remembered as a legend with Chelsea before finishing his career in the USA. He retires with the third most Premier League appearances and fourth most goals. He is expected to pursue a career in management,

A couple of injury stories have surfaced in the Premier League. First, Southampton will be without defender Virgil Van Dijk for two to three months thanks to an ankle injury. This keeps him out of the League Cup final against Manchester United. Second, AFC Bournemouth will lose striker Callum Wilson for the rest of the season with a knee injury. He leads the team with six goals on the year,

Philadelphia Union added an old American earlier this week and now they are adding a younger one. Fafa Picault is coming to the Union from second tier German outfit St. Pauli. The winger signed a one year deal with the club yesterday. He has previously played in the NASL with Tampa Bay Rowdies and Fort Lauderdale Strikers and has one international cap with the USMNT.
