Headlines
Liverpool have banned The Sun's reporters from their facilities due to their reporting of the HIllsborough disaster in 1989. The move comes as a reaction to the campaigns of the activist group Total Eclipse of the S*n that has worked against the paper for years. The newspaper has called the banning of journalists "bad for fans and bad for football," which I can't help but agree with. Had the truth of the tragedy been out there sooner this would have made more sense. However, banning the paper 28 years later when very few, if any, reporters and other staff are left from those times feels like the club and this activist group are holding a grudge they should have been able to cast aside years ago.

A pre-match stampede in Angola has killed 17 fans. Fans were piling in to watch the first match of the new league season between Santa Rita de Cassia and Recreativo de Libolo. A total of 76 people were injured or killed in the crush.

Offensive banners and chants by Borussia Dortmund's famed Yellow Wall have found the club facing a hefty fine and the potential closure of they Wall for a game. They banners and chants were aimed at RB Leipzig, the rags to riches club that was bought out by Red Bull and spent heavily with thei aim of reaching the Bundesliga. The 25,000 fan stand is the largest standing section in Europe. Dortmund have until Monday to respond to the charge.
