Headlines
The U.S. U-20 National Team, dubbed the Baby Nats, has won the CONCACAF Championship for the first time. They defeated Honduras in penalties after a 0-0 draw forced the shootout. Danny Acosta scored the winning goal in the 5-3 victory. The Baby Nats will next head to the U-20 World Cup in South Korea at the end of May.

After Arsene Wenger originally cited tactical reasons for benching Alexis Sanchez on Saturday against Liverpool, it has now come out that he was dropped for storming out of training earlier in the week. He apparently left the training pitch in frustration and got into a scuffle with teammates afterwards. It certainly looks like he is leaving the club in the summer with his contract expiring, unless, perhaps, if Wenger leaves first.

Russian politician Igor Lebedev has an idea for a new sport. The man who reportedly encouraged Russian fans to pick fights at the European Championships is now proposing hooliganism as a sport on its own. The rules for what he calls "draka" (Russian for "fight") would pit two legions of 20 combatants in hand to hand combat against each other. Now, fan violence is an awful thing. Because someone cheers for a different team than you is one of the top five dumbest reasons for a fight. Therefore, encouraging this on a competitive level is a terrible idea, even if spectators would come in droves, as Lebedev says they would.
