Barcelona's manager Luis Enrique has ended any speculation about his future with the club. He announced that he will not return the club after his contract ends after this season. He is calling it his choice, which makes some sense. Although Barcelona have been in a rough patch, the club did with the league last year and the European treble in 2014.

The Portland Timbers have waived journeyman forward Jack McInerney. Jack Mac started a few games for Portland last season, but he only scored five goals in 24 matches as Fanendo Adi's understudy. He had been with three teams over two years since leaving Philadelphia Union after 2014.
