Hooligan's Daily: Arsenal's top four hope still technically alive

Yesterday's Scores
Premier League
Arsenal 2-0 Sunderland
(Sanchez 72', 81')

Manchester City 3-1 West Bromwich Albion
(Jesus 27', De Bruyne 29', Toure 57')-(Robson-Kanu 87')

Arsenal keeps their top four hopes barely alive with a late arriving win over Sunderland. Their chances are still fairly remote, but at least the final day of the season will have some meaning for them. They have to defeat Everton and hope Liverpool fall to Middlesbrough or Watford to take down Manchester City coupled with a five goal swing in goal difference.

European League Tables

U.S. Open Cup- Second Round
Tampa Bay Rowdies 3-0 Jacksonville Armada U23
(Porter 3', Morrell 43', Paterson 68')

Headlines
Watford manager Walter Mazzarri is on his way out of the club. The Italian manager kept his club in the Premier League by the skin of their teeth this season, even though they are on a five game losing skid. Discontent in the dressing room is the likely cause for his dismissal, which will come after Sunday's season finale. This would be Watford's second managerial switch in as many years. Quique Sanchez Flores was let go last summer after leading the club to a 13th place finish.
