Hooligan's Daily: Chelsea crowned Premier League champions

Yesterday's Scores
Premier League
Everton 1-0 Watford
(Barkley 56')

West Bromwich Albion 0-1 Chelsea
(Batshuayi 82')

The late winner from Michy Batshuayi clinched Chelsea's second title in the last three years. This seemed unlikely back in August after the disgusting season under Jose Mourinho last year, but the team rallied behind Antonio Conte and cruised through the Premier League. There never was a title race this year, despite Tottenham's best efforts to create one. In the end it was nothing but a precision for Chelsea as they capped off a truly dominating season.

The highlight of the year will be their 13 game win streak that lasted from September into January. That run followed a 3-0 loss at Arsenal in which the Gunners looked more like title challengers than the eventual winners did. A lot changed between then and now, though. The Blues exorcised the demons of last season and turned this one into something to remember. Next up, they go for the FA Cup-League double when they take on Arsenal in the FA Cup Final.

European League Tables

FC Dallas have loaned out new designated player Anibal Chala to LDU Quito in Ecuador before he's even played a game in Texas. He suffered a sports hernia injury in preseason and has yet to debut for the side since signing with them from Nacional, also in Ecuador. They are hoping he can recover from the injury down in South America and storm into the team next year.
