Sunderland manager David Moyes has resigned from the club after failing to save them from relegation during his only season in charge. This completes a spectacular fall for a guy who was once thought to be the next great English manager. He moved from Everton to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United in 2013 and never lived up to the hype. He chose to leave the club without asking for any compensation from the club.

John Terry was subbed out early in Chelsea's season finale on Sunday and that has apparently raised some eyebrows in the gambling community. The FA is investigating whether or not there were any inconsistencies in the betting. Several bookmakers paid out winning wagers for Terry to be subbed out int he 26th minute of the game, which may have been fixed, according to some. It's probably not going to amount to anything, but I suppose its worth looking into.

Juventus have permanently signed Juan Cuadrado, who had been on loan with the club from Chelsea. They will send £17 million to London to complete the signing. Cuadrado has been with Juventus for the last two seasons after making only four Premier League starts with the Blues since he arrived in 2015.
