Today's Match
Serie A
US Pescara v. Palermo- 2:45pm

With the exception of Serie A, the European seasons are over. Only a couple cup finals and the continental championship matches remain. This weekend is one filled with endings and hopes for a new beginning. This is true for myself as well, for yesterday was my last day editing Last Word on Soccer. I am moving on to a staff writer position at SBI Soccer, the independent site run by Ives Galarcep. I joined LWOS in January of last year and began editing the site later that summer. My time there can only be described as fantastic and I would like to thank everyone involved for giving me the chance to write over there and lead such a unique group of soccer writers. I look forward to the new journeys that await me while always remembering the role Last Word has played in my life and the passion for soccer journalism it helped bring out.

Even with that big change, these daily posts at Hooligan's Corner aren't going anywhere. They are a part of my daily and nightly routine and my life would be incomplete without them.
