Cristiano Ronaldo is accused of €14.7 million worth of tax evasion in Spain. I guess he just has to compete with Lionel Messi for everything, including potential criminal records. Much like the Messi case, he reportedly took advantage of foreign business structures in order to dodge Spain's taxes. He could face a similar suspended jail sentence as Messi, who got 21 months.

Antoine Griezmann has sealed his commitment to Atletico Madrid. He's signed a new deal that will keep him there until 2022 after saying it would be a dirty move to leave the club after their transfer ban was upheld. He will still have the whopping €100 million release clause that has helped keep him at Atletico.

A couple Mexican national team defenders are on the move. First off, it's Hector Moreno leaving PSV Eindhoven for AS Roma on a permanent deal. Secondly, Chivas are loaning out Carlos Salcedo to Eintracht Frankfurt for all of next season. They will have an option to buy him outright next summer.

The Italian coaching carousel is on the spin yet again. Eusebio Di Francesco is the latest name to be involved as he is leaving Sassuolo and likely taking the vacant AS Roma job. Roma's manager job was opened up when Luciano Spalletti left for Inter Milan last week.

Olympique Lyonnais and French international midfielder Mathieu Valbuena is heading to Fenerbahce in Turkey for €1.5 million. He scored 12 goals in the last two seasons in France after he joined Lyon from Dynamo Moscow.

Ambroise Oyongo is going to miss the rest of the Montreal Impact season after undergoing surgery on his right knee in Barcelona. He suffered the injury while on international duty with Cameroon last weekend. He is expected to be out for six months.
