Headlines
Chelsea have announced they've reached a deal with Real Madrid for striker Alvaro Morata. He's been an attractive target for many big clubs throughout Europe. He scored 15 goals in limited La Liga action last season, and, with the path to full time starting work blocked by Real's wealth of talent, he was looking to leave for more playing time. He's a pretty good consolation prize for missing out on Romelu Lukaku, and likely comes at a bit of a discount. Manchester United paid Everton £75 million for the Belgian, while Morata will probably only cost £60 million.

Wojciech SzczÄ™sny has left Arsenal for Juventus. The Polish keeper has agreed to a modest £10 million move to the Italian champions, having fallen out of favor in North London. He spent last season on loan at AS Roma, where he kept 14 clean sheets in 28 Serie A starts.

Everton will be without Ross Barkley when the Premier League season kicks off next month. He had groin surgery yesterday and is expected to miss the next four weeks. He's yet to appear in the preseason due to the injury.
