Hooligan's Daily: Germany's B team takes Confederations Cup

Yesterday's Scores
Confederations Cup
Portugal 2-1 Mexico
(Pepe 90+1', Silva PK 104')-(Neto OG 54')

Chile 0-1 Germany
(Stindl 20')

Germany sent a reserve squad to Russia for the World Cup dress rehearsal, but it didn't matter. The youngsters and backups were good enough to take down the top players in some powerful nations. Chile and México are no jokes on the international stage and the German reserves had little trouble with them. I'm more or less convinced that this same roster could challenge for the World Cup next summer.

Philadelphia Union 3-0 New England Revolution
(Sapong PK 4', Ilsinho 48', Alberg 78')

San Francisco Deltas 2-0 Puerto Rico FC
(Heinemann 24', 67')

North American League Tables

There were a couple minor moves in England yesterday as we await final confirmation of Alexandre Lacazette moving to Arsenal. First, Jay Rodríguez had signed with West Brom from Southampton. They paid £12 million for the oft injured striker.

Secondly, Bournemouth have signed midfielder Dan Gosling to an extension. He will remain a Cherry until 2021.

Today's Match
Reno 1868 v. LA Galaxy II- 10:30pm
