Hooligan's Daily: LA Galaxy add a Dutch right back to fill defensive void

San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 LA Galaxy
(Wondolowski 16', 51', Hoeson 62')-(Van Damme 3', Tarbell OG 84')

LA Galaxy have brought in Dutch right back Pele van Anholt on a free transfer from Willem II in the Eredivisie. He was out of contract in the Netherlands after one season where he made 24 total appearances with one assist. He had spent seven years overall in the Dutch league. He figures to slot in at right back, where the Galaxy have been dangerously thin since Robbie Rogers was ruled out for the entire season due to injury.

Chelsea are loaning out England U21 international Ruben Loftus-Cheek. He will spend next year at Crystal Palace. He has made 32 total appearances for the Blues and is Palace's first new addition this summer.

Jurgen Klinsmann's son Jonathan, the US U-20 goalkeeper, has signed a deal with Hertha Berlin. His trial there was deemed successful and he will serve as the third string keeper in the German capital for this coming season. It's his first pro deal after spending the last couple years at the University of California and helping the USA win the CONCACAF U-20 Championship for the first time.
