Headlines
Orlando City midfielder Will Johnson was arrested after a domestic violence incident involving him and his soon to be ex wife. The Canadian international has been indefinitely suspended from MLS play, pending the results of their investigation. Johnson reportedly tackled his wife of five years to the ground after a verbal argument. The couple are in going through a divorce already. Thankfully, their children were not present for the incident.

In a rather bizarre situation in Africa, a World Cup qualifying match will need to be replayed. A match between South Africa and Senegal featured referee Joseph Lamptey of Ghana, who was recently banned for life for "unlawfully influencing match results," including this match. Due to this, the two will replay their match during the November international window. South Africa won the original clash, partially due to a suspicious penalty against Senegal. This could have implications on how Group D of African qualifying finishes. Before the replay, Senegal is a point back of leaders Burkina Faso with two matches to play. Should they turn the result around and win against South Africa, they would take over first place in the group.
