North American League Tables

HeadlinesAtletico Madrid have been chosen as hosts for the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League Final. their brand new Wanda Metropolitano will host the continent's marquee event. The new facility holds 68,000 fans. It will be the first Final in Spain since 2010.

Chelsea and Manchester City are the latest clubs targeted for the illegal signing of youth players. FIFA is opening an investigation into the two clubs' practices of signing players under 18 years old. It isn't the first time either club has been investigated. Chelsea was banned form signing new players for two years back in 2009 and City was fined £300,000 and banned from academy signings back in May.

This weekend's Liga MX games have been called off as clubs transform their stadiums into relief centers for the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck the country this week. As much as the league would like to provide some welcome entertainment, humanitarian aid comes first. The matches will be made up in mid-October.

The Carabao Cup held it's Round of 16 draw after last night's matches were over. There aren't any juicy games to speak up, with Chelsea-Everton highlighting the bunch. Here's the full draw:
