There were supposed to be a trio of NASL matches today, but both ended up on the chopping block thanks to Hurricane Irma. Puerto Rico FC was slated to host NEw York Cosmos, but with Puerto Rico under water right now, that just wasn't going to happen. Miami FC was also supposed to travel to the Bay Area to face San Francisco Deltas, but the hurricane has put their travel plans on hold. Jacksonville Armada was planning to play Indy Eleven at home as well, but, again, hurricanes are bad weather for anything, let alone soccer. Stay safe down there Florida.

It's been a rough opening for Real Madrid. They lost Ronaldo for the first four games of La Liga after he shoved a ref in the Spanish Supercopa, which has played a large role in their back to back draws in games two and three. In this third match of the season, the lost Karim Benzema to injury and will probably be without Marcelo for a couple games thanks to a straight red card picked up in the dying minutes of yesterday's home draw with Levante. Benzema picked up a hamstring injury in the middle of the first half, which could keep him out for a month.
