Hooligan's Daily: Tony Pulis sacked by West Brom

Yesterday's Scores
Premier League
Brighton & Hove Albion 2-2 Stoke City
(Grob 44', Izquierdo 60')-(Choupo-Moting 28', Zouma 45+1')

Peter Crouch set a fun record in this match. He was subbed on in the 73rd minute, making his Premier League record 143rd sub appearance. He's 36 and not up for starting all the time anymore, but he's been effective off the bench. He scores once every 162 minutes, compared to every 271 as a starter. He already has three goals as a reserve this year.

La Liga
Eibar 5-0 Real Betis
(Amat OG 6', Escalante 30', Charles PK 56', 71', Enrich 80')

Serie A
Hellas Verona 2-3 Bologna
(Cerci 12', Caceres 33')-(Destro 21', Okwonkwo 74', Donsah 76')

Ligue 1
SC Amiens 3-0 Lille
(Manzala 36', 48', Konate 85')

European League Tables

Tony Pulis was sacked as manager of West Bromwich Albion. They haven't won a game since August and were crushed 4-0 at home by Chelsea over the weekend. Garry Megson, who used to manage the team, will take over until further notice. Pulis was known for his ability to frustrate attacking sides and play very, very boring soccer during his time at West Brom, so I won't exactly miss him.

Miguel Almiron won the MLS Newcomer of the Year for 2017. The Atlanta United playmaker scored nine goals and provided 14 assists for an Atlanta United team that put together one of the best expansion seasons MLS has ever seen.
